The impact of the COVID-19 virus is rapidly changing the way we plan and move forward with our events. We regret to inform you that our School of Travel Industry Management's Celebrate a Legacy in Tourism on April 30 – has been postponed.

Our first concern remains the health and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, alumni and supporters. We are extremely grateful for the support we have received and look forward to seeing you at a later date as we honor and celebrate Paul Kosasa, president & CEO of ABC Stores and TIM alumnus Glenn Vergara, general manager of Waikiki Resort Hotel.

The School continues the tradition of honoring a “legacy in tourism” since its 1999 inception. The esteemed event honors individuals and organizations who have made significant and long-term contributions to the travel industry. Over the years, proceeds from this celebration have provided support for the School’s programs such as the establishment of the Gee Technology Learning Center at the TIM School, scholarships, and Nā Kukui (Executive Mentor/Student Program). Since 2011, 100 percent of the net proceeds benefit student scholarship awards. We invite you to join us for the 2020 Celebrate a Legacy in Tourism on April 30!
